  1. this may not be a romantic kiss, but i cherish each and every kiss that my son gives me. he’s going to be 11 later this week. he’s autistic, and like many autistics, he simply doesnt do physical affection because of sensory issues. so when i get one of those rare kisses, especially the completely spontaneous ones that take me by surprise, its a gift every single time.

  2. My favorite kisses come from 3 of the top men in my life….my sons Jared, Shawn and Brendan. Even though theyre older now, they still give me hugs and kisses.

My most memorable kiss came from the man I married. He was leaving to go on a tour of duty with the Army…he poured his heart into that kiss and I felt it from my head to my toes! Its one of the reasons I married him! After 24 years together, he still melts my heart with his kisses!

  3. While riding horses, my husband leaned over and kissed me like he just couldn’t wait until we got back home.

  9. My favorite kiss was during my wedding ceremony. It was supposed to be chaste and brief, but my new husband really delivered!!!!!!!! Wowza!

  10. His lips touched mine as he ran his hands on my behind and squeezed. Then he deepened the kiss with his mouth and tongue. He brought me closer until my breast was in his hand. I felt his manhood beneath his trousers, thick and ready, and thought I would swoon! I felt buttons being released one by one. My dress slid down and he kissed his way towards my belly… Then I woke up. It was only dream! Damn!!!!

  11. The very first time that my husband kissed me. It was done as kind of a dare and I had to pick myself up off the floor, LITERALLY! My legs turned to jello and I just flopped to the floor as soon as he let go of me. I still get whoozy from his kisses!

  12. My favorite kiss? There’ve been so many. The best one happened when my husband proposed.

  13. My favorite kisses were from my children when they were little and were showing mommy, they loved her.

  14. I’m still waiting for my favorite kiss….but if I have to pick one from a movie…..the first kiss in “The Last of the Mohicans”

  15. My favorite kiss was the last one I got from my husband. We went to bed and he died of a massive heart attack that night. Never had a better kisser. For 43 years he was and still is the only man I’ve ever kissed.

  16. My favorite kids and memorable was when I was in high school. Was before the Christmas holiday and was standing under the middle for and didn’t know it. A boy I thought was cute came up and planted a long kiss on me.

  17. My first kiss. With my biggest first crush, Chris. Spin the bottle, 12years old.
It was so different then I thought it’d be, better, excitingly he told me he liked me a lot too, and he wished it’d land on me… It was the typical peck on the lips, when leaning in for more practice, it curled my toes.
He had to move after that, but I carry that memory around.

  18. All kisses in the historical romance books are my favorites! I can close my eyes and just imagine!

  26. Ok I am a bona-fide sap I love the movie Never Been Kissed and that last scene on the ball field when he finally runs out to kiss her ..woof this Cinderella wants that happy ending

  27. My favourite kiss? You know when you`re sleeping right beside your partner/husband/boyfriend and you don`t want to open your eyes because you`re in between a delicious dream and waking up to the reality of soft lips brushing your? And then that tender caress turns into something more passionate that takes you to heaven…because you know that those lips belong to the man you love, even though you don`t see his face. There`s no need to see, you just know it`s him. And you could spend the rest of your life like this when you realize that no matter what happened in your past, your bad or sad experiences with bad self-called “love” became just the necessary step to learn about love, the one you currently have. And now you start living the real, true love, on those cherished lips.
That`s the kiss I dream coming some day into my life.

  28. The kiss that will forever remain with me was the last kiss I received from my husband. I left for work he stayed home sick and 5 hours later he died from massive heart attack. He was the best kisser I ever met.

    • (((((((HUGS)))))))))) So sorry for your loss 😭 I can’t imagine the pain I’d feel to lose my mate

  29. My favorite kiss is when my husband just randomly kisses me for no reason. Not to start something. But just a quick kiss and then he goes about whatever he was doing . It make me feel loved and cared for

  30. I was 6 years old & a 3rd grader came to the classroom & talked the teacher into letting me come to the door to get my lunchbox – he said I left it on the bus – BUT he wouldn’t give it to me until I kissed him! I finally did just as the teacher came into the hallway & saw the whole thing!! I was sent to the principals office for the 1st time in my life – all over my 1st kiss – he also proposed that day & I said yes! I wonder sometimes where he is & if he remembers that moment!!! I am 67 now & that memory is one of my favorites!

  31. A kiss that curled my toes and ignited both of our passion–it just built and built!

  32. My current favorite is when Lord Miles Vorkosigan hops up on the table at the Council of Counts at the end of “A Civil Campaign” and kisses Madame Ekaterine Vorsoisson. The sheer joy in both of them, and the humor of him needing to get on the table just made me smile. I just finished the book today, which is why it’s on my mind.

  33. Dancing in a warm summer rain, thunder and lighting in the distance …my hubby still takes my breath away – always 🙂

  34. A romantic kiss each night from my husband of 46 years this March which still sends my heart on a thrill ride.

  35. The first kiss that came to mind for me (and the first one that really stuck with me from a movie) was the very first one between Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline in “French Kiss” on the train. It was the one where she was asleep and he was trying to snag the necklace back from her. Not sure why that sticks with me after all these years but it was the first one I thought of.

  36. The kiss at the end of Anne of Avonlea, the second in the movie series. When Gilbert and Anne finally kiss after two full movies, it’s amazing.

  37. My first date with my now husband, Mickey at a party 7/3/99.
We where in the swimming pool.
When we kissed I felt tingly all over.

  38. The almost kiss in 2005’s Pride and Prejudice when Darcy proposes to Elizabeth in the rain. Hotness!

  39. Just this morning I was thinking of the love of my life, with whom I did not have an “HEA”. I was thinking of how I could take our story and expand it and develop our characters and give us our happy ending. The other day, I commented about “my best first kiss”. I said that my best kiss was the first time that I kissed the love of my life, and each first kiss when we saw each other after being apart. I met the love of my life when I was sixteen. He was a friend of a friend, and at first I thought he was just a smart-aleck. He thought that I was a snob! However, it didn’t take me long to realize that he was more, much more! He was tall and slim, and he had thick, wavy golden blonde hair and the most beautiful green eyes ever! He smelled better than any man I’ve ever met, and for years I could think of him and instantly smell his scent. Witty, warm, somewhat of a cowboy, and like me, Southern to the core. He put me on a pedestal, and he never thought that he would be accepted by my family. I have never been treated with such protectiveness and respect, but he had a short fuse and very low self-esteem. He liked to “make the rounds” with his friends, and we definitely had different lifestyles. However, the love was always there! We saw each other off and on throughout the years, but we never had our “HEA”. He married once and divorced, and I have never married. Neither one of us has children. I will always believe in first love and second chances. You are never too old to love and be loved in return.

  40. My favorite kiss would have to be the first one with my boyfriend – it was very sweet and romantic 😉

  41. When I got my hair dyed and re cut I walked into the door my husband grabbed me and dipped me into a long awaited kiss . It was long passionate and romantic

  46. WHEN A MAN PUSHES YOU UP AGAINST A WALL AND STARTS KISSING YOU AND THEN KISSES DOWN YOUR NECK.

  47. My favorite kiss scene is from “Rocky.” I was 13 years old and had a real boyfriend with whom I was newly and madly in love. We went to the movies and I melted!! Here’s what I remember: Rocky has Adrian in his apartment for the first time and takes off his shirt. she is really nervous and he tries to calm her down. Eventually, he has her against the wall and puts both hands on the wall on each side of her. He takes off her silly hat and her glasses, then announces that e’s going to kiss her. She doesn’t have to kiss him back, he says. And then he kisses her and that’s that.

  48. my Smokey has gray hair and blue eyes. She climbs up on my chest and her fuzzy chin tickles as she gives me a lick on the nose with her rough and gentle pink tongue. Smokey’s kisses bring joy and love to my life. Each morning Smokey’s kiss is my favorite.

  50. My favorite kiss was the one my husband and I shared the night we met. Christmas night 1999….We were in a crowded bar and when we kissed everything and everybody seemed to disappear. Seriously! I couldn’t hear music or see anyone! It was a magical kiss and we knew then that we would be together for the rest of our lives.

I hope I can come to the Romance Readers Social, Julia. It would be very nice to see you again. 🙂

  55. My favorite kiss? The one when my 8yo randomly comes up to me and kisses me on the cheek, then looks at me, and says “I love you mommy.” There’s no greater kiss than that of a child who shows pure genuine love for a mother. It melts my heart every single time, and it reminds me of how lucky I am to have him and his 2 brothers in my life. That’s my favorite type of kiss. Not very romantic, but very pure in my eye. ❤

  56. My favorite kiss is the one that my grandson gives me when I’m having a bad day.

  57. He was staring at my lips and leaned toward me, still staring. He very lightly touched his lips to mine. He pulled back a little and looked at me, then he very lightly touched his lips to mine again. He did this three times and to me that was my favorite kiss.

  58. The first kiss with my husband, over 51 years ago. I can still feel the softness of his lips and the gentleness of his touch. We’ve been married over 48 years now, but he suffered a massive stroke over 11 years ago and he can’t pucker for a good kiss anymore, but as I put him to bed every night and give and get the new normal peck, I always remember that first kiss.

  59. It’s from the movie Twilight (and I didn’t even liked the movie) The way she approached him, so hesitantly, so innocently. She knew he could reject her and yet she became vulnerable for him. They were in her bedroom. She asked him no to move so as not to make any mistakes I suppose. She placed her lips on his and the moment she tries to deepen the kiss he vaults from the bed. He’s a vampire so he does this with lighting speed and before she has a chance to react. It was sweet and funny all at the same time.

  60. first kiss- 16yrs old, running back roads with step sister and two guys ahead of us in class, stop on a dirt road and was standing our front of vehicle talking and he asked to kiss me, I told him I had never kissed and with some patience and a lot of fun I was shown how to kiss, ….. always enjoy something new in your life

She’s saying that she doesn’t even remember their insignificant kisses and he suddenly turns her around and pulls her to him. When she asks what he’s doing, he says, “Reminding you” then proceeds to kiss her. – swoon!

The way he touches her face and just leans in and kisses her is amazing. One other favorite isn’t a kiss but should have a mention is Michael Fassbender in Jane Eyre after the fire in his room she sits in his coat in the chair and ever so slightly leans into the collar and inhales the scent of him and he catches her doing it and it’s really quite the telling scene for him. It’s a total favorite of mine

  92. My favourite kiss was being gently pinned up against a wall and gazing into each other’s eyes as he slowly advances his lips pressing gently barely touching then firmer and firmer pressure then slipping his younger gently between my lips and then passionately claiming me. 104. My favorite kiss is from my own imagination. That first kiss with someone you can’t take your eyes off of, who looks at you with an unguarded intensity and a barely leashed hunger. The butterflies you feel from your lips down your throat to your stomach. The anticipation, that builds up to the softest, slowest most sexy brushing of your lips together. Then the mutual realization that this was meant to be as you simultaneously devour each other, the need for air trivial, all that matters is becoming one. Yes, that would be my favorite kiss ever! 😉

  105. My favorite kiss, hmmmm…… I know mine was with my husband when we start dating. We always have some illusions about things, how it should be, especially if we see it in the movies! But in reality…if you love someone the emotions take over your body ! When he holds you in his arms, slowly put his lips on yours and let the feelings thrill you!

As I sat there in the dark, watching this epic kiss play out on screen, I remember thinking to myself that this was the most beautiful kiss I had ever seen. 129. The first kiss from my Hubby when we started dating, it was short, sweet but it was the way he made me feel so special from the way he held my face to how he licked my lip gloss….

  130. I still remember the kiss that Rhett Butler gave Scarlet O’Hara when he left her after they escaped Atlanta. He was going to fight for the lost Southern cause and he claimed a kiss.

  131. I believe my favorite kiss scene is the first kiss between Bram and Bluebell from ONE ROGUE AT A TIME by Jade Lee. This scene happened when Bluebell is trying to convince Bram to take her to London while sitting atop a wooden fence at the stables, Bram is standing infront of her telling her of the price she would pay for the escort is her body. She’s not in agreement to those conditions and as Bram is trying to scare her off her plans, he grabs her chin and pulls her forward for a heated and all consuming kiss. And instead of scaring her, he angered her and made her even more determined to go to London, worse yet, the kiss scared him of what he might do to her.

  132. Thank you for such a nice give away Julia!! And I can’t wait to read the new book. I entered to review it that would be great!!

  133. My favorite kiss was from my husband, shortly after we first started dating.
It was raining, we snuck outside against my father’s wishes and met between two apartment buildings. I ran into his arms, he picked me up and help me against the wall of one building while I placed a hand on each side of his face and kissed him with everything I had. It was like a scene from a movie and it still makes my heart skip a beat.

  147. We were walking on the lake shore late one summer night and he lifted me up to sit on boulder on the shore. It put us eye to eye and what a kiss it was. The warm summer breeze, the gentle lapping waves, a feeling of being alone in the world…it was 25 years ago and I still can bring that feeling to mind. The perfect kiss.

I tell my husband, “Kiss me like that”!

  154. My first kiss with my husband before we were serious or engaged was very special & sweet.

  155. It was the early hours in the morning one Christmas. I had dinner with my family and one friend asked me if I wanted to go out after dinner. We were very good friends and there was always some sexual tension between us but we never did anything. I have always liked older men and he was 5 years younger. I was 23 and he was 18 so he was barey legal at the time. So we basically were walking around town until we found a nice bar to have some drinks and dance a little. We were speaking and dancing and he leaned closer to me as if to whisper in my ear. I don`t remember what he said, but what I do remember is that he suddenly kissed me. We were in the corner of the bar, kissing like teenager, which I guess he was. After the first kiss we looked at each other and laughed a little and just cotinued kissing. I have great memories from that night.

  156. I kinda love the first kiss between my husband and I on our first date 17 years ago. We went for a hike and kissed in front of the water fall. ♡♡♡

  157. I think my favorite is the first kiss when you have met the really nice guy, he taken you out and walks you to the door and makes it just a very simple but gentle kiss without the expectation of anymore at that moment. Where you can walk away with a smile on your face and a thought that wow, I look forward to more.

  158. The first time I kissed my boyfriend. I was incredibly nervous because I had very little experience. We were standing on my porch and it was raining. I start laughing a lot when I get really nervous and I can’t stop. He knew this and he just kept dragging it out and not doing anything, then he started making funny faces at me until I just could not stop laughing.
Finally he goes in for the kiss, but he stops and pulls back! He does this a couple times to tease me and I go you look like a chicken pecking! At LAST, he kisses me, just real quick and soft. And of course, I blurt out, “That’s it??”
I meant all my nervousness was for nothing but that’s not what it sounded like, and my boyfriend still teases me to this day almost a year later!

  159. A kiss that starts slow and turns more passionate, hands roaming, and you get the idea….

  160. My favorite kiss is french :>) and probably was when I was 15 or 16 and a boy I had a huge crush on finally kissed me. I happened to look him up on line a few years ago and he’s bald and fat! What a letdown!

  161. When my husband and I kissed on an overloo in Guam trying to use a selfie stick and giggling and trying to kiss while doing it. Best kiss and best picture ever.

  164. My favorite movie kiss: In “French Kiss”, Meg Ryan kisses Kevin while she’s sleeping and dreaming, and his reaction is “stunned”; love at first kiss! Even if it is an accidental kiss.

  165. My favorite kiss is actually a description of kisses taken from one of my favorite romance books, Julie Anne Long’s “The Legend of Lyon Redmond.” This was the finale of an 11 book series, and the anticipation for this particular couple to have their HEA had reached a fever pitch for me. Lyon and Olivia had a history that involved a family feud, young love and desertion (by Lyon). So that by the time (3/4 through the book) they are reunited (on a desert island no less), their kisses, etc. are some of the most passionate and heartfelt I have ever come across in romance fiction. Ahhh, this book was my #1 in 2015 simply for the last 1/4 of the book alone…amazing.

  166. I just finished an audiobook with some fabulous kissing. I especially loved the kissing that occurred in a HOT kitchen scene while preparing gourmet cupcakes. The book is Sugared in Jamie Farrell’s Misfit Brides series. (It can be enjoyed as a standalone.) Karen White aced the narration…

  168. The upside kiss from Spiderman movies is smoking hot. I can still almost feel kiss from fiancé seven years ago…memory and sensation I don’t want to ever forget. Sweet kisses from my cats have their own scratchy loving appeal. All sorts of flavors of kisses.

  169. My favorite kiss is the one that get every morning and night from my husband. We have been together 25 years and still start and end our day with a kiss.

  170. As much as I love kissing my hunky hubby, my favorite kisses are the ones between my parents who have been married for 60 years. Those kisses say everything. I love you. I accept you. I’ve been through hell and back with you…more times than I wish to remember. And I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.

  171. My favorite kiss was the first kiss from my fiancé. We were on a street corner in New York City and on our first date. The kiss was perfect and someone walking by even wolf whistled while it was going on.

  172. My favorite kiss…between Jamie and Claire on their wedding night!
    (Outlander)

  173. My favorite kiss is milk chocolate. I’m sure my husband will be disappointed, but he will get over it. When a small child comes up and offers you a kiss unprovoked is also right up there. When my dog walks up to me and licks my hand out of nowhere and then sits at my feet that always puts a smile on my face.

  174. You absolutely cannot go wrong with that EPIC kiss from The Notebook (film, not book). Love. It.

  175. My favorite kiss is the kiss a young child gives the returning soldier parent either when surprised or when they were waiting for the plane to land. That kiss is just the most precious for both the parent and child.

  176. I love the deleted scene from Sense and Sensibility (1995), where Edward and Elinor finally kiss. Both are such restrained characters, so seeing them admit their love for each other is satisfying. I also really adore the kiss at the end of the first Princess Diaries movie. I guess the friends-to-lovers plot is very compelling for me.

  177. My favorite kiss was not a sensual kiss but one I will treasure for the rest of my life. It was the kiss my mother gave me to tell me she loved me the day before she passed away. I was ever so blessed to have the parents I had.

  178. He was my neighbor. I was only 15 at the time and he was a bit older than I at 18. I used to watch him drive off every morning through my window before I went off to school. Sometimes he would see me walking home in the afternoon and he’d wave and smile at me but I was so shy back then. This went on for about a year. I’ll never forget my 17th birthday. It will be etch in my memory as one of those glorious things that we brag about as young adults and whisper about as we grow older. I had a few friends over for a sleep-over and one of them dared me to go outside and stand on my front porch and look towards his house. Of course they all knew he hung the moon in my eyes. So, I took the challenge! And it was well worth every moment. I walked outside and it was dark so I didn’t see him standing on his front porch. But when I look over towards his house I saw a shadow move. He had 2 roommate’s so my first thought was “oh no, please don’t humiliate yourself!” As I was trying to make out who it was, he stepped off his front porch into the light in all his beautiful glory! He had long brown hair just past his shoulders and the most beautiful hazel eyes that I have ever seen to this day! He smiled at me and my breath hitched and for a moment I think I forgot to breathe. He said “hello there beautiful” in a deep baritone voice and it startled me. I had never heard him speak before and his voice reminded me of hot cocoa on a cold afternoon. I just stood there staring at him and he smiled at me and said “happy birthday.” Well I tried to respond at first but my words were stuck in my throat. Then he walked right up to me and said “I have something for you.” I finally found my voice again and said “what is it?” And he relied, “a birthday kiss.” Oh my goodness I felt faint. My legs felt like globs of jelly! As I stood looking at him, with red checks and a belly full of butterflies, he asked me, “do you want my gift?” Well of course I did, but I was so speechless I couldn’t even respond! He smiled at me again, cocked his head to the side and then he reached out and touch my face. It felt feathery light and caused goosebumps to shimmer up my spin. Then he asked me again, “do you want my gift beautiful lady?” All I could do at that point was nod my head. The next thing I knew I was in the boy of my dreams arms and he was kissing me! At that moment it felt like I had wings and could fly! The kiss seemed to last forever yet not long enough. Then he stepped back and took my hands and said “I knew it would feel like heaven kissing you.” As I stood there looking at him with a silly smile on my face he cocked his head again, smiled at me and said “happy birthday.” I hope your life is as beautiful as you.” Then he turned around and walked away just like a dream. Sadly, he moved away soon afterwards and I never saw him again, but he left me with the most wonderful burning memory that’s too perfect to ever forget and to this day it makes me fell all warm and fuzzy inside 🙂

  179. My favorite all time kiss is the upside down kiss on the first Spider-Man movie. Kirsten Dunst and Toby Maguire are simply HOT .

  180. My favorite kiss was from my husband nearly 43 years ago. Needless to say, I was thrilled, as were our family and friends in the church!

  181. First kiss with hubby New Years 24 years ago and this was after dating 4 months because I had been married and finally divorced an abusive ass. Hubby was slow and caring with me we are now 25 year in September. He knocked my socks off

  185. My best kiss was when my boyfriend first kissed me last year. It was so hot, soft and gentle. It made my heart skip a beat. That was the best kiss I had in a long time.

  186. Our kiss at our wedding. We were at an outside shrine at my favorite childhood church. It had rained for 3 days and cleared off just that morning. (the rain came back that night). It was a chaste kiss, but a promise by both of us to a future we were looking forward to. Almost 45 years later, the future together is still something to look forward to.

  187. My favourite is the real thing from my hubby which reinforces that decision made over 40 years ago.

  188. I love unexpected kisses. When he just kisses me for no reason other than he wants to, or when I’m having a bad day and he interrupts my ranting with a kiss to get my mind off of things. Those are the best.

  189. I have several of them, the first kisses when each of my sons were born, then the first kisses of each of my 3 grandkids when they were born.

  190. My favorite kiss is a fantasy….it would be between a man and a woman who have been seeing each other for awhile. They just had a terrific meal, he walks her home. Under the street light in front of her house he takes her face in his hands and gives her a tender kiss.

  191. My favorite kiss is from real life. It was the first kiss that my husband, Rich, & I shared. It was started out soft, & then grew more intense. I will always remember it!

  192. I forget kisses in stories very quickly. My brain is a bit of a sieve that way. My favourite kiss is the surprise one I get from my husband when I’m busy doing something. He’ll come up behind me, slip his hands around my waist, say “I love you” and gently kiss my ear, or that sensitive spot on my neck just under my ear lobe. Gets me every time, and we’ve been married for 36 years.

  194. When I meant my husband to be 27 years ago our first date was a trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway late at night, and we started walking a trail to see the water fall. I go a little a head of him and he said wait you forgot something , I said what? He said this , and he kissed me for the longest time under the bright full moon. It was just beautiful , not to mention breath taking!

  195. Last year I was on vacation and this older couple was walking down the pier. As I was nearing them, the gentleman leaned over and kissed his wife on the cheek. She got all flustered and blushed. Afterwards he looked around and said to those of us near by that the secret to a happy marriage was finding someone that every kiss felt like the first time. She chimed in that after 6o some years he still makes her blush.
That is my new relationship goal and was the most moving kiss I’ve ever seen.

  196. My favorite kiss is from the movie The Notebook. It occurs during the scene, It’s Not Over, Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling). It’s pouring rain outside and Allie is questioning Noah, as to why he never wrote her. She had waited 7 long years to hear from him, and now it’s too late. Noah, had poured his heart into writing to Allie every single day for an entire year. Unbeknownst to her, her mother kept those love letters hidden. Noah, exclaims “It wasn’t over. It still isn’t over.” Noah reaches for Allie in a passionate, unforgettable kiss…

This scene brings tears to my eyes, every single time. It’s the driving rain and pent up sexual frustration throughout all of those years between Allie and Noah.

  205. Before my husband and I got married we lived in different states (Maine and Virginia). We met on facebook and our “courtship” was by skype. 208. My favorite television kiss is from a now ended program called Burn Notice. Michael, the main character, believes his ex-girlfriend slash soulmate Fiona has been killed (burned alive😱). When she appears at his place slightly bruised, but alive, he gives her the kiss of all kisses. Let your imagination tell you what happened after the kiss. Beautiful😍

  209. My favorite kiss is from all my favorite romance novels where there’s that moment right before the characters share their first kiss, it’s a moment full of so many emotions and when the book is written well you can feel them too and I love that feeling of uncertainty of whether it will be everything you hope it will be yet so excited that the person you like is finally going to kiss you, in case you couldn’t tell I’m a hopeless romantic.

  210. My favorite kiss from a movie is most definitely Breakfast at Tiffany’s! I love everything in this movie. The kiss signifies Holly’s acceptance of fear and being loved for who she really is. 224. I think the best kisses are from babies when they are learning to kiss. Yes they are sloppy and yucky and you have to make sure that they don’t catch you with your mouth open, but there is something completely special about someone learning to show affection.

  225. Ohh…my favorite kiss would have to be the one from the boy I dated in high school (don’t tell my husband!). He was taking me home from our first date, and when he leaned over to kiss me, he forgot to put the car in park, took his foot off the brake, and very nearly took out our next door neighbor’s mailbox!

  226. The foot pop kiss in The Princess Diaries ranks high for me, but so does the New Year’s Eve kiss at the end of When Harry Met Sally.

At the end of the night he walked right up to me and asked my husband if he could kiss me. My husband said sure go ahead, which surprised me and the man bent down and kissed me. 236. My favorite kiss is definitely from my husband. He kissed me in the most romantic way at our wedding ceremony. We were married on the steps of the old hotel in Ashcroft Ghost town with 60 of our friends and family gathered round us. He grabbed me, bent me back, and kissed me for all to witness. It was so romantic and just like him to do.

  240. My first kiss… I was on a hay ride, and he wasn’t quite my boyfriend yet. After he kissed me (tongue involved), he asked (amazed, I might add), “Where the hell did you learn to kiss like that?” I had to tell him that was my first kiss. Always makes me wonder why it doesn’t come naturally to the ladies in the books.

  241. First kisses are always the best. Mine from my high school boyfriend happened on the beach. Prefect setting.

  242. The Masqueraders by Georgette Heyer was the first book I ever read that had kissing, and the first one between Prudence and Sir Anthony will always remain my favorite.

  246. My favorite kiss was the first kiss that I shared with my husband. We had dated as teenagers but went our separate ways. 5 years later, I had just broken up with a guy and my bestfriend took me out for a drink. Mike had evidently planned it with my bestfriend and when he walked in, he walked right up to me and kissed me. My ex was there and started toward us but when he saw Mike, he turned around. We have been together ever since, that was 30 years ago this March.

  247. I don’t know about favorite, but one that comes to mind is when MJ kisses Spiderman while he’s hanging upside down in front of her.

  251. When Lady and Tramp accidentally kiss at the end of eating the same strand of spaghetti. <3

So i knew then that we were going to get married cause I fell for him in that instant, And we did get married and we have been married for almost 38 years come April. And his kisses are still melting my insides.

  258. Does the idea of the perfect kiss count? My favourite kisses have come and gone as I’ve aged, but the idea of the perfect foot-popping kiss, as introduced in the Princess Diaries movie has stayed with me for nearly two decades now.

  259. The best kiss? The kiss in the movie, Quiet Man. The scene where Maureen O”Hara and John Wayne, kiss at the cottage during the storm, to me, is iconic. The power of the storm, the power and strength of the characters, explode in that one kiss. It must be iconic, look how that scene was used in ET!

  260. Although most will say their spouse, my favorite kiss is that first kiss that came from my son on his own without prompting 🙂
My favorite romantic kiss is on our wedding day!

  261. I can’t wait to read your latest! And these winters are wreaking havoc on my lips. Thanks for considering me! Barbara

  262. My favorite kiss has to be the scene when Rhett Butler is at the bottom of the grand staircase, grabs Scarlet O’Hara and hauls her against his chest, then just lays one on her.
    Rawr!

  263. Favorite kisses are always the first kiss because while they may not be technically perfect, they are magic none the less and a beginning to everything. There is so much anticipation and build up, you don’t know whether to feel nauseous or excited. But at the end of the day, kissing the one that you love, is the best feeling of all.

  264. My favorite kiss was the first time I ever kissed my now husband. We met through mutual friends in 2004. I was 24, he was 25. We had hung out a few times with other friends and then he came over to watch TV at my apartment. He gave me a hug and was about to leave and I said hey, and I planted one right on him! We kissed for about 5 minutes, it was wonderful! It still is to this day. We are celebrating 10 years of marriage this year!
