Writing and Riding

My apologies for not checking in sooner! 2013 has been a whirlwind so far! I've been working on four different manuscripts because I am cray-cray, not to mention writing new proposals and dreaming up a few novellas along the way because I like to think I don't have enough to do.  (Geez, was I always like this?  Who knows?  I can't remember anything anymore). What I do remember is that I just completed the final edits on my new contemporary, Homecoming Ranch. It has a release

Hunky Highlanders

highlanderunboundI really want to thank everyone for the great response to The Last Debutante! The main theme I’ve noticed is that you loved my Highlander, Jamie Campbell. If you loved him, you might really love meeting Liam in HIGHLANDER UNBOUND. I’m proud to say that this book, originally published in 2004, was my first Scottish historical and my first RITA Nominated book. It's also been chosen by some of my

Re-issues with Hot New Covers

CollageI'm extremely happy to announce that Amazon is re-issuing three of my earlier novels with all new covers. Formerly Thrillseekers Anonymous, this series is now titled, OVER THE EDGE, but they are the same great books!

To peep or not to peep

Sunday is Easter and the aisles, just cleared from the red and pink flood of Valentine's candies, are now awash in pastels, bunnies and eggs. What stands out? Those evil little marshmallow critters known as Peeps and their equally evil friends, Peanut Butter Eggs. You can keep the Cadbury Eggs and chocolate bunnies - ok, maybe not the chocolate bunnies. Admittedly, I just like to eat the candies, but there are some that take the love of Peeps to another level and create the Peep dioramas

Spring has sprung

For a while now, I have been looking outside at the beautiful weather, the sunshine and the world starting to wake back up after winter and trying to stay motivated to work. I'm meeting with mixed success. Of course, I'm now suffering from allergies and all the misery associated with them because of the beautiful days and the pollen getting all inspired to float about and do its pollen thing. So now I'm torn between wanting to go out and enjoy the weather and staying in near

How am I supposed to work like this?

It is another perfect March day. The temperature is in the 70s, clear skies with the perfect amount of sun warming up my skin. Not far from me, SXSW (South by Southwest) is in full swing and the Austin area has turned into a Mecca for artists, musicians and other creatives. I hear it all calling to me. Yet here I am in my home office working on deadlines and marketing and other things

Thanks to Nitty for creating such a unique review - and her flattering praise for The Last Debutante! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vBNCoVbMBeo
