Being on a limited retirement income, I can only spend a little each month on books, so I have a very long list of books I want to buy.

Most often I can’t justify paying for books when there are still so many i haven’t read through KU. I’d love to pick up some of those i have on my “books I want” wish list!

  17. Usually I would save it until it needed, but there are some new books out at the latter half of March, so that GC will be used to buy them.

  18. I’m on a limited budget, due to a disability. My activity of choice is to read instead watching tv. I find my imagination is better than what I find on tv. There are so many books I have on my wish list which I’m not able to get through the Library.

    Therefore, I would use the gift card to purchase books I cannot get elsewhere (and this includes older books that are no longer being published.

  30. My mother passed away a year ago next week. She was an avid reader who got me interested in reading romance novels especially historical romance when I had previously been a science fiction and fantasy reader. If I win this card I was going to donate it to her library and ask (Westerville Public Library) that it be used for a large print historical romance book. She had macular degeneration toward the end of her life.

  63. My daughter has introduced me to a new protein powder, Vital Collagen Proteins. OMGoodness! It is the best. Yes, this is what I would buy. In only two weeks, I have noticed a difference in my hair, skin, and nails. And at my age, I need all of the help I can get. I mix one scoop into my coffee once, okay, twice a day. It has no taste or smell, mixes right up into anything hot or cold. Almost too good to be true.

  66. There’s so many things I want and need, but probably a decent set of cooking utensils. Mine go from 48 years, that’s how long I’ve been married, to the occasional addition and they are used and mismatched. I still do a lot of cooking, so I really could use them.

It could be a book I can’t find locally, but it has also been items like a car charging cord for our Tom-Tom because I couldn’t find one anywhere else (because our Tom Tom is too old) or even a pair of socks for a neighbour and friend because they said “Knitting Girl” or “Quilting Girl” on them (and I couldn’t find things like that locally).
