  13. Spending more time with family, decorating together, holiday shopping and baking, watching the classic holiday cartoons looking at decorations, everything about the holiday

  14. I’m making a historical gown for Christmas caroling. I’m not an experienced seamstress/tailor so every step has been challenging. I may not get to go caroling in it this year, but darn it, I will get this dress finished and take some nice pictures anyway!

  15. I am most looking forward to the lights, sparkle, and sounds of Christmas.

  76. I wish I was looking forward to the holidays. My sister is moving about a thousand miles away. I’m a high risk for Covid and can’t go to a big family party. Sometimes life just sucks. I’ll get over it and have a good day with my boys and their families. We’ve all been together throughout this ordeal. I do have a lot to look forward to. My oldest granddaughter is getting married next fall. I’m not overly sad just down a little. No matter what happens to me and my body the bad will never outweigh the good that God has brought into my life.

  77. I’m looking forward to the feel of Christmas! How happy the music makes me. All of the heartwarming Christams movies every year. The child-like giddiness I get when I see the decorations! My kids like to crack jokes on me about my hallmark movies but man, they are so light and full of love and happiness. That’s something we all can use and I get it every year when November 1st comes around!

  81. I’m looking forward to hopefully spending time with my family. With the virus, we’ve been unable to get together much at all this year.

  82. I’m looking forward to our first Christmas with our 2 sister puppies, Holly and Ivy. We adopted them in July and they had already contracted parvovirus. The rescue took Ivy back temporarily as she was very bad. They took her to the their vet and it turned out she only had a 5% chance to live. We were so upset (understatement) and we found out the vet wanted to put her to sleep, but the next morning she turned the corner. Ivy is now 23 weeks old and about 50 lbs. Holly and Ivy are our special angels, we named them for Christmas in July.

  83. I’ve actually been working a lot even during the pandemic. I’ll be looking forward to a little down time over the holidays with my immediate family. Hopefully with some extra time to read! ;0)

  84. I am looking forward to watching my grandchildren enjoy the holidays. They have such a look of wonder on their faces.

  85. Prayers that this craziness will be over & things can go back to normal…& no more masks! And being with family.

  86. Being able to gather together with more family members than what were allowed now.

  87. I’m looking forward to yummy holiday foods, family time, presents 😉, colder weather, and snuggling up with a good book to keep me warm.

    Thanks for the chance.

  88. Being with my family (Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year) and getting this year over. 😊

  95. Hopefully to be able to see my daughter, son-in-law and my grandchildren. I haven’t seen any of them since Jan. of this year and that we will all stay healthy.l

  96. I am just looking forward to doing all of our traditions. The decorations and the cookies are probably going to be the bright spots for me.

  105. I am just looking forward to down time and chilling out with family and maybe friends

  106. I feel a little down about the holidays. None of my family are traveling to my home this year. We are all just staying home because of the pandemic. All the young children are missing out on so many activities.

  107. Phone calls from all of my family now living at a distance because we cannot see them because of Covid. Although we hear from them regularly, the Christmas holiday calls are always special.

  108. I am looking forward to getting together with my relatives since the virus lockdown. Will be so happy to see them.

  110. Looking forward to winning these books and swag. With the pandemic we probably won’t get together as a family for any of the holidays

  111. I am looking forward to seeing my family (even if we are masked and practicing social distancing) for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas. I am also looking forward to decorating for Christmas.

  112. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 laryngeal cancer in January so honestly I will just be grateful to be with him and our daughter for the holidays.

  113. I look forward to spending time with my elderly mother during the holidays. My number one wish is to help her recall the joys of her past Christmases.

  114. I’m mainly just looking forward to the end of year since it’s been such a trying one and some days it’s more of a struggle to stay positive but I’m still doing it!

  115. Looking forward to spending time with my extended family and of course excited to watch Christmas movies!

  116. I’m hoping and praying for a virus free Christmas to spend with my family without wearing a mask. Christmas is my favorite holiday with Midnight Mass, opening gifts with my family and Thanking God for another year of life.

  117. Looking forward to a settled, but festive season this year. My son passed away last year and then Covid-19 hit this year. I think we all need a time of wonder and thankfulness.

  118. I am also looking forward to the special holiday food. And this year, because I’m isolating and not attending the big family gathering, I’ll have all the things I like and none of things I don’t care for (sorry to be selfish but this year requires selfish). Plus, not having to prepare food for lots of people and spend time traveling, I’ll have more time to read!

  119. I look forward to the love and friendship of family and friends gathering to celebrate to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior!

  120. I am looking forward to spending time off with my children and husband. It seems like we may not be able to do an extended family gathering like in the past, so I want to make the most of our time together. Since we will have time off from work and school, we can make some great memories.

  121. I’m looking forward to hopefully still being able to spend time with loved ones and revisit family favorite traditions! And otherwise, find new ways to celebrate if the current situation won’t allow for things to be as they were before!

  122. Decorating! Can’t wait till it’s time to put up the tree. Would love to do it now but it’s just a little too early. 🙂

  123. I will be celebrating my 40 th wedding anniversary in St. Maarten over the Christmas holidays. My 3 daughters and their families will help celebrate. I can’t wait. My 7 grandchildren will finally get to be together!

  124. Can’t wait to cuddle next to the fire with a new book to read. And see the family for Christmas.

  125. At this point, a good book, a cozy fire, a warm blanket and my family snuggled close.

  126. Spending time baking cookies with my Grandchildren. My six year old Grandson already requested his favorite chocolate chip.

  127. Spending time with my family. My husband, 4 kids, son in law and 2 grandchildren. I also get to see my brothers and sisters and there family. I am from a family of 15 children so we try to get together for the holidays. Plus this is will be the first Christmas without my father in law. We will miss spending time with him.

  128. I’m looking forward to a normal Christmas. One that lets everyone get together and celebrate the day. Dinner with the whole family. All 17 of us. Thank you for your time and consideration.

  129. Looking forward to spending Christmas with my sin and daughter-in-law for the first time since they married 3 years ago. We lived too far apart to see each other. I just moved back to our hometown whete they lived. Cannot wait!! He was my miracle baby after 2 full term stillborn sons due to a rare blood clotting disorder. I’m so blessed to have him in this world and be such a loving giving caring son. Thank you got this chance to win I love your books!!!

  130. I am looking forward to snow, Hallmark Channel Movies , snuggling with my dog and family on the couch under cozy blankets. Eating yummy soups and fresh baked bread. Just being together.

  131. To be honest, Julia… all I want for the holidays this year is inner peace. The turmoil of this entire year has completely knocked me off my axis and I can’t take the person I’m becoming because of it. So all I want, is some time to zone out and find myself again. That may seem selfish, but if you have a family like mine, you’d probably understand it more.

  132. I am looking forward to seeing family i have not seen for months, and to be able to relax and read books i have wanted to read as well as put a few jigsaw puzzles.

  133. Family & Friends ALWAYS. Will be a bit different this year, due to an unfortunate amount of health problems, but we’ll work it out. I’m looking forward to having, if not Peace in our Country, at the least a bit less turmoil. Praying, but not sure if that’ll happen by Christmas. Thanks Julia for your wonderful books to get us through. God Bless everyone & be safe. ❤❤

  134. I am looking forward to holiday baking and crafting. It helps to get me in a happy mood and brings back lots of good memories of baking with my mom and grandma. I am hoping that we get back to normal soon so I can spend time with my parents.

  135. I’m looking forward to spending the holidays with my daughter’s family. My 4 grandchildren love all things Christmas! Plus they are very giving and do many special things for children who are not as fortunate.

  136. Thank you for the chance to win. You’re a new to me author, and o look forward to reading your books.

  137. I am looking forward to putting up the tree and the decorations. Each ornament brings back such good memories.

  138. I hoping that my nieces and nephew will be able to come home for Christmas, it’s been over 14 years since we’ve celebrated together and I really miss it. I have also been really wanting a big family Christmas since I haven’t had one in almost 20 years. I miss being with my family for the holidays.

  139. I hope to be able to have Christmas with my family. I haven’t seen much of them with the virus. Hope things get better soon.

  140. Hard to look forward in a positive way, but I am looking forward to being safe at home with my books, Christmas Hallmark movies and having food.
This year the simple things will mean the most.

  141. I’m looking forward to decorating my home with Christmas lights and holiday cheer for my 1yr old! We aren’t seeing family this year due to the pandemic which makes me sad but I cannot wait to see my daughter’s face light up with all the decorations and to make it an extra special holiday for her♥️!

  142. I really love seeing family that I don’t normally see much. Not sure how this will work this year.

  143. Spending time with family including husband who usually has to work every holiday, but finally has vacation time.

  144. Seeing my three girls come home from college for the holiday break! I became an empty nester this year, and as much as I was looking forward to it, I realized how much I truly missed them.

  145. Love stories where the heroine does a lot more than tat in the corner or Only exists for herself!!!
    You have another winning novel!!!

  146. I am looking forward to all of the Christmas traditions I do with my kids, like making cookies, making homemade ornaments for family members, and watching Christmas movies.

  147. Buying Christmas presents for my friends and family. I love holiday baking and watching movies with my family.

  148. I am looking forward to some time off from work to spend with my family and reading this holiday season. Thank you for the opportunity to enter a contest. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!

  149. Well Christmas 2020 will definitely be very different from Christmas 2019. We won’t be able to celebrate with my husband’s 40 family members so it’s definitely going to be a lot more intimate with just our sons and possibly my brother, sister in law and nephew. I definitely am looking forward to the low key aspect of spending some real quality time together!

  150. I love everything about the holidays: spending time with family, decorating the house and Christmas tree, listening to Christmas music and enjoying festive activities.

  151. I am always looking forward to spending time with my family. When hubby has extra days off and kids are out of school and college.
Thank you for this wonderful chance.

  152. I’m looking forward to cool weather! Here in Central California we’re still on the high 80s, with a few high 90s on the horizon. It’s been a long summer & rain is needed!

  153. It’s a combination of things, the Christmas decorations, especially the Christmas lights in the tree. Writing and receiving Christmas cards. One week free of work, spending it reading Christmas romance stories, eaten good food and visiting friends (although this year that may not happen). Just a time to relax and spend with family and friends.

  154. I am looking forward to making my first real gingerbread house by my own design and decorating my house to the hilt for my grandkids who will be coming to see me this Christmas! I only get to see them once a year and so this year I want them to see how much I love making Texas look like the North Pile with all the deco!!

  155. Like many have already said, I will be spending the holidays alone due to Covid; however, several of my friends and family are reading the same book and are having zoom book parties. I hope to continue reading books with my friends and also possibly zooming our classic family holiday events – just so I can hear and see their faces. 2020 is going down as a frustrating, interesting, lonely and scary year. On the up side, my closets are organized!

  156. Looking forward to the magic and beauty of the seasons along with friends, family and festivities!

    • Congratulations, Cathy!
      You’ve won this month’s giveaway 🙂
My assistant will reach out shortly for your information.
      Best,
      Julia

  157. In the coming holidays I am looking forward to things being great for everyone. This has been a very trying year. The holidays are a time to remember what makes them great. Should not have large gatherings. Just a few people at Thanksgiving and Christmas to celebrate that we made it through 2020. Some didn’t. Let’s say a prayer for those families who lost loved ones to this pandemic. I look forward seeing a my son. We disconnected for a couple of years. But the holidays are bringing us back together. Hope 2021 is better for everyone.

  158. I love the spirit of Christmas. All the lights and decorations. It’s interesting to see how different everybody does it. Spending time with my family.

  159. Spending time with family is at the top of my list. My sister’s and I received some news that my 81 year old mother has breast cancer and because of her poor health the drs can’t do any type of treatment. We don’t know how long we have with her so we are just going to love her the best we can and take it day by day.
Thanks for the chance to win a cool prize.

  160. My Mother is 94 and every year I always spend the second week in December with her to help her decorate and bake for Christmas I’m so hoping we can do that again this year unfortunately we live 1200 miles apart so it entails traveling and am hoping it is possible this year best holiday wishes to you we will all do the best we can this year🎄

  161. I really hope I’m able to see my grandma. I’ve never gone this long without seeing her and I miss her terribly.

  162. Spending time with my son and his fiancée who live in New Jersey – assuming the quarantine order is still lifted!

  163. I love to decorate for the holidays! I’m looking forward to seeing all the sparkly Christmas lights.

  164. Looking forward to lots of snow which means lots of time in front of a toasty fireplace with my books.

  165. I want the cold weather! Christmas is my favorite time of the year due to the peace and colors. I put my tree up this year 10 Sept. with lights only. Ornaments go on day after Thanksgiving. Just sitting at night with some soft music (yes, Christmas music) on the TV with the Christmas tree lit while the whole house is quiet with everyone else in bed is my peaceful time!

  166. I am looking forward to spending some time with the family during the holidays. With everything going on we have spent any time together.

    • We (my sisters and I), are quietly celebrating all holidays here at home, same as every year. We are the only remaining members of our immediate family, and also live together.

I love your books, so this is a great gift!

  167. I am looking forward to decorating and watching Hallmark as well as spending time with my daughter and husband

  168. I am looking forward to my second grandson’s first Christmas ,and to hopefully being able to see my mom.

  169. I’m looking forward to figuring out what gift(s) to give each person in my family that would be special to them. I listen for subtle “tells” and notice nuances about each person. I’m good. Also, looking forward to my kids all under one roof. That hasn’t happened lately.

  170. I am like many others who have had to stay home away from other family members and friends during this pandemic. Most of all I wish we could spend the holiday together. Holidays are special and always are a time for family, but we can’t risk spreading this disease to each other. I enjoy your historical romances because they help me to put aside my loneliness during this period in my life. Please keep writing historical romances.

  171. I’m looking forward to the food. Starting with Halloween, I’ll get my favorite chocolate which is Three Musketeers. Then the cranberry sauce, dressing, turkey and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Then more turkey and the fixin’s for Christmas followed by the snacks and treats of New Year’s Eve. It’s an eating extravaganza.

  172. I am looking forward to not having work or my kids school and time for us to just be together and relax.

  173. I’m looking forward to the spooky atmosphere and movies that go along with autumn and Halloween.
