  3. I’m actually looking forward to colder weather and snow. We tend to get snow here around the end of January beginning of February, and I love going outside and playing in the snow (I’m originally from Florida) and having fun throwing snowballs and making snowmen with my kids.

  16. hi- what am i looking forward to in the next year? new opportunities with the company i just started to work for in january. what am i not looking forward to – moving . we are being forced to move and rent is a lot higher than when we moved last time. I am afraid we will have to move further and further out and further away from our jobs. not looking forward to that.

  21. There’s so much to look forward to in the 2023 New Year: travel to visit relatives and friends, new embroidery projects, more to learn, and more opportunities to serve. Can’t think of anything better!

  23. I’m hopeful the pandemic will finally go away. I mean eventually, the Spanish Flu, the Sweating Sickness, and the Black Plague all died out on their own; they didn’t even have vaccines then, although at least with the Plague, we know some people had masks. Anyway, I sure would like to get back to meeting with friends and going to the theatre. Maybe, maybe an end will be in sight soon.

  31. Love your books! This year I’m looking forward to Christmas with family I haven’t seen in 3 years because of government insanity, and because I nearly died and spent the entire summer in hospital, all i want is to be with the people who mean the most to me. Nothing else is important.

  54. This may seem weird but I’m Lookng forward to getting my deck rebuilt and my kitchen remodeled. These have been put on hold since Covid began. They are looooong over due.

  62. My husband passed away unexpectedly in February and I have been trying to put my life back together. Some days are good and some are not. In the new year, I am going to try and set a goal for each month to do something I have enjoyed before my “Handsome Man” passed. (I am his “Flannel Goddess”.)

  73. Challenging this year with AFib and ablation but hope and pray the returned palpitations do not escalate to AFib. The coming year I hope to lose much needed weight. I know what to do, it’s the doing that’s my current struggle. I need strength and perseverance.
