  1. I’m looking forward to finishing up chemotherapy every week. Going on to radiation and kicking cancers butt! Thanks for writing things to keep me entertained and distracted. ❤️❤️❤️

  2. A scary Halloween for my Grandchildren. A family get together for healthy Thanksgiving. And plenty of time to catch up on my reading.

  5. I’m looking forward to cool days filled with walks, baking sweets, reading and enjoying my garden.

  6. I enjoy looking at leaves with my husband and son on the back roads or walking along trails or paths and hearing the leaves cracle under our feet. The leaves ate such beautiful colors the reds, yellows, and oranges are my favorites to look at as well as the pumpkin treats and ciders that are out at this time of year.its a more relaxing and xalming time.ecery day I see the squirrels and chipmunks running around sometimes with food in their mouth, and I’m seeing the blue Jay’s again .keeping an eye on the mountain ash in the back to see if the birds give us a clue about what winter will be like by how many berries they eat.

  7. I’m looking forward to getting through my 12 weeks of chemotherapy and going to once every three weeks with only one chemo medicine until August 2024.

    • Congratulations, Glenda!

On a totally different topic – other than Central Texas – I saw a copy of The Viscount Who Vexed Me at my local HEB today. 🙂

  43. My church is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of it’s building, a Neo-Gothic pile in the center of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

It’s an absolutely beautiful building, and wouldn’t be out of place in any city in Germany (which is where the original church members hailed from, even though they started Luther Memorial as an English congregation, specifically for students).

We will be performing Bach’s “Ein Feste Burg” cantata, along with a piece by Ralph Vaughn-Williams, and some other solo organ music.

This all will be happening on Friday evening, October 27. We’re calling it “Reformation Vespers”.

  50. I an actually looking forward to my 53 birthday in October! I know, why? Well I’ve had some major health probl3ms starting at 46 and I am 6 years out from quadruple bypass open heart surgery. And I have been doing good so far! Heart is actually getting stronger than from when I had the surgery much to my my Cardiologist’s surprise!I was also one of the unlucky 5% of heart surgery patients who experience a stroke after surgery. So, on top of my Multiple Sclerosis, Type 2 Diabetes, and Heart Disease I had to overcome a right-sided stroke! The balance issues were awful! Always feeling like you are going to fall over backwards sucked! But now that is not an issue. I;m still not driving, but I’ll get there some day. so that ius why I’m looking forward to 53! I’ve EARNED it!

We haven’t been able to enjoy the holidays over the past two years due to illnesses and moving from Texas to California.
