  4. My husband and I are going on a Transatlantic cruise to celebrate our 35th year anniversary. Leaving out of Fort Lauderdale and ending in Barcelona Spain. then spending two days there to see the sights. So excited!

  6. I finally had my colonoscopy done! Also an upper endoscopy at the same time…might as well do both ends at once. They turned out pretty good. At least no cancer. No official final report yet, though. Well, that’s done for 5 years!! Good news for me anyway.

  7. We finally decided to try to have a baby. We’ve been waiting for years & realized we are running out of time! Wish us luck, we’re in our 40’s so we’ll need it!

  10. I broke my leg last year and was just authorized to have the plate removed in March. So happy to be able to get back to a regular hiking schedule soon!!

    • Hi my good news is my daddy was in the hospital and he had a growth in his colon area and it was tested to be cancer of the colon. Since he got out of the hospital he has been doing really well after his surgery and he has been dealing with the rerouting of everything. I am so blessed that I still have my daddy around becaus my mom is gone to be with her guardian angel in heaven.

  14. Love the cute dogs on the covers! My dog is starting Service Animal/Therapy Animal certification training in February so he can make the lives of others a little bit happier.

  15. Our Rec Center in our small town suffered frozen and broken pipes resulting in flooding and damage. With a lot of community help it is back together and open. Yay, I am so glad to get back to water aerobics! At age 71, the regular exercise program helps with daily movement and a feeling of well being. Would love to win some books!

  17. My last doctor visit she went over my blood work and my A1C went down from 7 to 6 my kidney function was great and my liver function was normal and my cholesterol was perfect. Those were problems the last time I was there I have alot of health problems it feels good not to have to worry about those. Thanks for the chance.

  20. I got good news from my Doctor. My fibromyalgia is not getting worse. Good report and good labs.

  21. We are just finishing up a trip to Orlando, Florida with our daughter and granddaughter. In 6 days we have done Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, dinner and a show at Medieval Times, a day at Disney Animal Kingdom, and a day at Disney’s Epcot. They leave at 11 tonight and we have 3 days to recover before we head home on Saturday. It has been enjoyable, but tiring.

  38. I’ve been suffering from 2 different types of arthritis for almost 40 years. There is one medication that finally came down in price. I’ve waited a long time to take it. Anyway, after a couple of months, I’m starting to get a little relief, after Decades of suffering!! This sure beats going through my series of painful injections from my neck to my hips!! Those should be sporadic now. I’m over the moon with just this much relief!! Keep your fingers crossed for me!! I’ll continue my prayers, of course.

    next week on a severe shoulder injury that occurred last October!

  49. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary the end of March early April in Maui. Our anniversary was July 2019 but it’s still 40!

  50. I have 2 wonderful neighbors – one with a snow blower & one with a shovel – who helped clear my driveway after a recent snow.

  51. A neighbor snowblowed my driveway for me after realizing I was actually trying to shovel away the 4 inches that had fallen Friday night.

  73. Julia: I have the best news for 2020: my granddaughter will be born in the next few days-she was due 1/19/2020, but she is late for her party!!! I can’t wait. I also want a calmer lifestyle in 2020: to be more loving, patient, and positive.

  74. Thinking of my parents as today would have been their 70th wedding Anniversary. Even though they are no longer with us I celebrate today and their love for each other.

  84. Four rescue kittens that I found at 2 weeks old last summer in a wood pile near death, are finally starting to get healthy. I’ve spent a small fortune on Vet visits and medicine as they were in such bad shape. So much blood, sweat and tears went into this rescue mission. All I prayed for was for them to make it, be healthy and have a good, happy kitty life. So my positive news is they are starting to thrive and I’m so happy.

  120. Good news? When a pickup truck plowed through our yard into two of our cars last week, my husband and daughter who had been standing in the driveway mere minutes before had gone inside and therefore were not hurt in the crash.

  145. I suffer from agoraphobia, social anxiety and PTSD, soooo my good news is the other day we went to Walmart. I lasted two and a half hours, no panic attack, just a little shaking because I forgot to eat, but NO Panic attacks at all! To understand this, you have to realize that it’s been about a year since I left the house and when I do go somewhere, there’s a 50% chance that I’ll have a panic attack or episode. This may not sound like a lot if someone doesn’t live with these conditions, but it is a big deal! I am so proud of myself… That is my good news…♥
