  1. Both are great, but for me it’s “Tempting the Laird” I like the best – what a man !! ;D

  2. I like the guy in Devil in Tartan better, but I like the tempting the laird cover better. 🙂

  3. I like the cover of Tempting the Laird. The other one looks a little too “Cosmopolitan” wind-blown model look for me.

  4. I love both of the covers but I like the cover of “Devil in Tartan” the best!! I absolutely LOVE all of our books I buy them as soon as they are released I’m hooked on your books!! Keep up the absolutely amazing writing!! 💕

  5. I like the Devil in Tartan cover better. I like the Tempting the Laird cover, but he looks more Photoshoped and less realistic in his setting than the other. Not to mention Devil is very good looking.

  6. Tempting the Laird. Tall dark and sexy. I would read this book first just because that laird is so hunky.

  7. Ooohhhhhh! Temping the Laird is slightly yummier than Devil in Tartan. But it was a tough decision.

  8. They are both great but I have to say Devil in Tartan caught my eye right away? 😉

  9. I love both of them so much! They are absolutely amazing! But if I have to choose it would be Tempting the Laird that catches my eye.

  10. Tempting the laird I guess. Not a huge fan of either but the hair flying around is too silly.

  11. Ooh, girl, that’s a tough one. It’s like Chris Hemsworth and Orlando Bloom duking it out in plaid. *swoon*

Still, I love the blues and greens on Devil in Tartan so that’s going to have to be my winner. 🙂

  12. Since I’m previewing DEVIN IN TARTAN right now I’ll pick that one…but I like them both.

  13. Gave it considerable thought, looked at faces, then hair, then their builds, then the background, and then the overall composition. LOL. Still coudn’t decide. Back to which of the hunks was more appealing.
“Tempting the Laird” is my final choice. But …

  14. I’m more drawn and attracted to the Devil in Tartan’s overall look and design. With seeing the two covers paired next to each other, the only thing I think that would enhance my choice of Devil in Tartan would be to have the brighter colored cover.

  15. My choice is Tempting The Laird.

I wish to win the Gift Certificate which is great.

  16. I like both but Tempting the Laird cover has more depth to the colors, so I like it more.

  17. Oh my, it’s a difficult decision. I like the two, but If I have to choice one I’ll choose the cover of Tempting the Laird.
    I’m exciting for these stories.

  18. I like Tempting a Laird, because his hair is tied back. For some reason, in romance covers, if the guy has long hair, it must loose and you can’t see the face as well.

  19. I love the Devil in Tartan Cover, plus I love the colors of his tartan. I think the trimmed beard does it for me.

  20. Love Tempting the Laird and also love the background behind him on this cover. He has an intense look in his eyes that says he will protect the ones that he loves. 🙂

  21. How can you ask us to choose? I kept going back & forth,,,wishing I could take parts of one god, I mean guy, & combine them with parts of the other god, I mean guy, & have the perfect,,, But, I think I would choose, by a hair, ‘Devil in Tartan’.

  22. I like Devil in Tartan best because of the the sea and cliff as background , the beautiful blue and green color combination of the kilt and the model is more handsome to me. As a child of the sixties I like hair on my guys.I do not like the other cover where the model’s hair is tied back. I like big brawny guys so the “Devil” is more my type. The “Laird” looks too young and has a thinner face and body. Thanks for the giveaway.

  23. I love the Tempting the Laird cover. I just like them tall, dark handsome and kilted ! Love all of your work. Keep it up !

  24. Devil in Tartan gets my vote. I’ve always been a sucker for a man with a claymore.

  25. I definitely prefer the cover on Tempting the Laird. He looks so intense; almost like a predator getting ready to pounce…

  26. What a decision! I’m going with Devil in Tartan. Love the pose and the sexy facial scruff he’s sporting. 😉

  27. Devil in Tartan. I like the light color shining in the background as compare to the darker background.

  28. Tempting the Laird… guess i just like the talk, dark and handsome ones! lol Happy New Year!!

  29. Tempting The Laird! They are both great, but Tempting is just so tempting and appealing to me.

  30. Now this was a toughie but I’m more inclined toward Devil in Tartan but only because it’s not as “glossy” 😉

  31. Devil in Tartan! That one is definitely my favorite cover! I want to read that book right now

  32. Devil in tartan. Because I hate it when yes it’s historical fiction romance but most men don’t look model perfect. Yet editor badger authors to use that type of cover. The stories are of time place, etc about this man. Who like many of his time period were blunt stark, They chopped their hair off with their blades didn’t use gel or lard in their case. Their looks were rough hard untamed intimadating not perfectly groom shaved tann perfect body. Your cover ought to reinforce the particular character, laird or simple fighter otherwise.

  33. I like the Devil in Tartan cover better because of his wild hair and his blue tartan. The colors are much softer giving it a mysterious look.

  34. Tempting the Laird is the one I like best. And I’d like to say I have been reading your books for years and think they are wonderful. I can always count on you for an interesting read. Contemporary or historical. Thanks!!

  35. I choose Devil in Tartan. I guess I am of a generation that’s not into tattoos all over. Subtle, maybe

  36. Hey there! This is very hard to choose because they are both yummy. How lucky you are to be there when they do the shoots and drool over these guys. I have been to Scotland and loved the country. My Mom was born in Dundee and my daughter and I went from Edinburgh across the entire country and into the isle of Skye. I drove 1100 miles. It was wonderful but cold. It was in August and we were there for the Military Tatoo. Fabulous, especially that piper on the top of the castle playing the pipes. Made me cry. Anyway, I must choose unfortunately, so I choose “Tempting the Laird” as he looks a little more fierce. Good luck and we anxiously await your books. P.S. I would love to be among your ARC readers if you have a spot for me. Thanks.

  37. I like the cover for Tempting the Laird. I have always liked the tall, dark and handsome guy.

  38. I like the Devil in Tartan cover best. The man on the cover looks mysterious and a little devilish to me.

  39. I wouldn’t mind spending some “quality time” with either one of them, but truthfully I’d like the head of Tempting the Laird on the body of Devil in Tartan. But since I must choose only one….I pick Devil in Tartan.

  40. While the cover for “Tempting the Laird” is tantalizing, the cover for “Devil in Tartan” takes my breath away! Definitely: “Devil in Tartan”

  41. Tough choice. They are both “smoking hot” but if I have to chose it would be “Devil in Tartan”. But wow neither would be a loser.

  42. #2 definitely! Eeeek! I like the hair pulled back. The other one looks like he is too bulked up and unreal and also like he is trying to sway his hair like a girl does when she is trying to be sexy. 🙂 This is so fun! I love choosing book covers.

  43. Well, I really love them both, but if I had to pick just one, I’d go with Devil in Tartan. That is one sexy man right there!!!

  44. Devil in Tartan, love the hair & the beard. Makes you want to run your fingers through.

  45. Och! The TEMPTING THE LAIRD cover is so juicy. Love it!
I lost 51 lbs. in ’17. And I plan to lose 50 more. I definitely could use something to sooth my soul. 🙂 I’d use the gift card to buy the entire HIGHLAND GROOM series. HONEST!!

  46. WOW! They’re both amazing. I prefer the bright yellow background and the disheveled look of the male model. The red title also captures your attention . It’s quite eye catching

  47. I like Devil in Tartan as the kilt clearly seen on the cover and I love whole art composition of that cover!

  48. My favourite has to be the Devil in Tartan cover. Tempting the Laird is a bit tame in comparison.

  49. TEMPTING THE LAIRD. I love all the details, the tattoo on his shoulder, the castle in the background. And ylthe hot guy, of course, lol. But both covers are great.

  50. Tempting the Laird….the bookcover is so bright and colorful! Inviting good reading to follow when you open it up!

  51. Not easy to pick a favorite, but I’ll pick Devil in Tartan. There’s something about that hair flowing in the wind… *swoon*

  52. I love the cover of Devil in tartan! The hair blowing in the wind is just perfect 💖

  53. I like the cover, “Tempting the Laird” better than “Devil in Tartan.”

  54. I prefer “Devil in Tartan” because I like the color choice of the blues and greens in the tartan. The guy on the cover is more appealing to me, he just looks wilder and more attractive.

  55. Ooh, real tough choice but I’d go with Devil In Tartan. It’s the wind-blown hair that sealed it for me!!!

  56. hi Julia

I prefer Devil in Tartan. There is something wicked and tempting about him. Wouldn’t mind jumping back into time and meet him 😉

I’m sure you had lots of fun writing these books!

    Wishing you all the best
    Marijke

  57. This is tough, because I’m one of those weird people who’s not a fan of beefcake or kilts, aesthetically. But Tempting the Laird has the more overall appeal otherwise, what with the scenery and the lighting.

  58. Devil in tartan is my favorite cover. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome giveaway!!❤❤❤❤

  59. Tempting the Laird…the guy on the cover seems to be looking directly into your soul. Oh yeah!!

  60. Devil in Tartan – Highlanders would likely be a bit unkempt –hair a wee bit long, slight beard but always brawny muscles.

  61. Oh, Tempting the Laird by far! I prefer unrestricted views of the lovely models with ripped bodies chosen for the covers.

  62. If I HAVE to choose, ( really Julia?) it’s Temting the Laird. The pose, the color of the sky, his slicked back hair and the colors of the tartan all contribute to the successful cover!

  63. Devil in Tartan. He just has a bit of a “wild” look about him that is so appealing. This is based purely on the cover, not content.

    Great choice!!! Thank you!

    And, Happy New Year!

  64. A seriously difficult choice…but I’ll go with Devil in Tartan, because he looks like he belongs there.

  65. While I enjoy the six pack on the Tempting the Laird cover, the gentleman in the Devil in Tartan cover is just gorgeous! My vote is definitely for Devil in Tartan!

  66. The Devil in Tartan! Both are smashing but I like the touch of sunrise(?) in the back ground as well the the blue green tartan the cover model is wearing.

  67. Both look great, but my eyes keep going back to Tempting the Laird… so it gets my vote! 🙂

  68. Tempting the Laird, absolutely! Usually I prefer the blondes but this tall, dark and handsome is not to be overlooked.

  69. I’m going with Tempting the Laird, partly because the head of the guy on Devil in Tartan doesn’t look like it belongs to that body.

  70. I love The Devil in Tartan— his hair in the breeze and beard just add to his authentic look!

  71. Both covers are awesome but I think I like Devil in Tartan a wee bit better! Thanks

  72. The Devil in Tartan for the model because I like the cords around his hands mostly and Tempting the Lord has the better background.

  73. Tempting the Laird. I like the background. The castle, the mountains. I like the model you used. Dark hair, and of course; his abs. I like the haur tied back too.

  74. Happy New Year, Julia! It’s a tough choice but I’ve gotta go with TEMPTING THE LAIRD for best cover.

  75. Tempting the Laird! HOT!! Thank you for the chance. (The Devil isn’t so bad either)

  76. Devil in Tartan with that wild windblown hair it just seems to fit the title the best

  77. They are both great covers but I lthe Devil in Tartan’s cover caught my eye immediately!

  78. Devil in Tartan is the better looking cover. But it is nice to see a left-handed hero on a cover.

  79. They remind me of Thor and Loki… both appealing in their own way, but I like the background colors of Devil better. 😀

  80. Ah man! I gotta pick one OR the other?! How about one AND the other!? No? Ok…Devil in Tartan! He’s so sexy!!

  81. Like them both but I think Devil in Tartan is my favorite. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy new year!

  82. I like the cover for Devil in Tartan! Call me old fashioned, but I’m not a fan of tatoos. The ink on the shoulder of the other book doesn’t look good and I don’t think it represents the time period in the book, either. Just my 2-cents! 😊 Good luck with both novels!

  83. It’s really a hard choice but I went with Tempting the Laird. I can’t really tell you why. Love your books!!

  84. I like the cover of Tempting the Laird the best! The powerful Scottish landscape appears to be reflected in the strength of the man.

  85. Tempting the Laird. Love the intensity in his eyes – like he’s going to walk right off that cover towards me!

  86. I prefer the cover of “The Devil In Tartan”, a very Chris Hemsworth kind of yummy.

But ooooo, it was a hard choice…….

The other guy deserves the cover of the next book – I do enjoy the tall, dark and brooding Aidan Turner/Poldark kind of gentleman, who also fires the imagination.

  87. I like the Devil in Tartan the best although his flying hair seems overdone but he looks more sexy to me than the Tempting the Laird cover whose wild hair I really didn’t like either but he looks mean or mad. 🙂

  88. I prefer Tempting the Laird. He seems sexier and yet more reachable. I like the pulled back hair and the ripped abs.

  89. Oh, this is a hard choice! I’m going to choose Tempting the Lard because I like showing of his abs in that one. 😀

  90. I like them but, but I do love the shaggy haired highlander. Come to think of it, I wouldn’t mind being sandwiched between these two.

  91. Tempting the Laird is my pick. The red of the tartan catches my eye as I’m a ‘red’ girl. The laird’s good looks and muscles don’t hurt either!

  92. I prefer Devil in Tartan. There’s so much that draws the eye. The cover model’s hair in perfect disarray, the blue-green tartan, and the sun peeking from the background.

  93. I think Tempting The Laird sounds the best to me. I can’t wait to read it and thanks for the chance to win. ❤❤

  94. Tempting the Laird for sure! Not wild about the other one’s messy hair, lol.

  95. Happy belated New Year Julia. My favorite is Devil In Tartan. Don’t get me wrong, both are beautiful. It’s just that my son is about the same age as the cover of Tempting The Laird. :). I can’t wait to read these books. Thank you so much for the chance.

  96. Well, it’s a tough decision because I like both covers, but I am loving the cover for Devil in Tartan the most. 🙂

  97. I like the lean, mean tempting look. Highland heroes are my favorite. Your books provide me with the best .
    Thank You.

  98. It’s a hard pick…I like the colors of Tempting but the model pose with the wind blown hair in Devil . I guess Tempting is more tempting 😉

  99. While both are great, if I have to choose, I would pick tempting the Laird. Thank you for this chance to win.

  100. Devil in Tartan has my heart. There is just something about that wild hair blowing in the wind that just gets me! LOL Thanks for the contest!

  101. They are both gorgeous, but I choose Devil in Tartan. I love how the colors blend the background and the man it seems so alive.

  102. Tempting the Laird is my favorite cover of these two. They are both swoon worthy cover models and beautiful backgrounds. However, Devil in Tartan would be my favorite if it didn’t look like someone laid a piece of onionskin paper over it to blur the details. I like the movement of his hair, but the lost detail from the blurring and bright light behind his shoulder pushed me over to Tempting the Laird.

  103. Devil in Tartan. His hair is a little too wind blown, but I like the brightness. Tempting the Laird is a little too dark.

  104. Hmmm. Tough choice, but I think Devil in Tartan pops out at me the most. I like the wind-tossed hair and the ocean in the background.

  105. Both are great, but I would vote for Devil in Tartan. The look on his face is confident and proud, yet enticing. The man in Tempting the Laird seems unapproachable, resistant, defiant.

  106. Devil in Tartan is a rough and ready Scot.
Tempting the Laird is the more civilized Scot.
I like them both depending on the story. I like both kinds of story so I guess that’s a 50/50 choice.

  107. I love them both! If I have to choose, I would go with Devil in Tartan. Thank you for your great giveaway.

  108. I really like them both but if I had to choose a favorite it would be Tempting the Laird. I think it’s mostly because I don’t like the messy hair in Devil in Tartan.

  109. Devil in Tartan! I’ve already preordered on Audible and can’t wait to listen to it!

  110. They are both AWESOME, but I think I like Devil in Tartan just a wee bit better! 🙂

  111. I love the Tempting the Laird cover. Very well done.
Thanks for entertaining us so well Julia.

  112. I like Tempting the Laid. His six pack appeals to me big time but I like his face his eyes draw me in his long hair pulled back appeals to me better than the other guys. I like the back ground better also. I tend to be drawn to a book by the cover even through I also read what they are about. I may buy both liking what they were about but if they were stand alones I’d read the one I chose first.

  113. They are both great, but I think Tempting the Laird wins for me. I like his hair and the rather interesting tattoo.

  114. I like the gentleman on Tempting the Laird but the tattoo is throwing me off. I didn’t think they had tattoos in the Highlands. So I’ll vote for Devil in Tartan – he’s handsome, too! I would prefer the Amazon Gift Card should I be lucky enough to win!

  115. I like the cover for Devil in Tartan better. Both books look great though! Thanks for the chance to win!

  116. I prefer the man in Devil in Tartan. What can I say, I love the man’s arms and hands! 🙂 I also like the hill and loch background of the cover which says Scotland to me too, loud and clear.

  117. “Tempting the Laird” is my pick of the two, but if you had a redhead choice, that would be my fave. Both of my brothers are /were redheads with natural deep auburn hair One has brown eyes and one has blue. And not a freckle between them

  118. Tempting the Laird–love the brooding background and his intense gaze! Thank you for the contest!

  119. A hard choice, but I have to go with Tempting the Laird. It sounds a little more playful!

  120. My Favorite of the Two Covers is Devil in Tartan
Something about the way he looks on the cover
    Sexy ..

  121. I think I like Tempting The Laird’s cover the best. He just has such a deliciously dark aura about him! ❤️

  122. Devil in Tartan!!!
But I’m in LOVE with Jack. You did an absolutely phenomenal job in this guy! ❤️

  123. Devil in Tartan; he looks so interesting. I think the cover fits the title.

  124. I love both covers but I think I like Tempting the Laird the best. Not sure why but they are both great.

  125. Devil in Tartan – I like the way his hair is fanned in the breeze and the tartan colors

  126. For the gift card, I choose “Devil in Tartan”. Many thanks for the great books, and the opportunity to win!

  127. Honestly that is a hard decision because I love them both! If I had to choose one though it would be Tempting the LAIRD! Looking forward to reading them both! Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  128. I love the Devil in tartan cover. My goodness, all that flowing hair, an usual color tartan and flowers! Who could resist.

  129. Hard choice, but Devil In Tartan is my cover choice. Thanks for having the contest.

  130. Tempting the Laird, because is more brilliant and joyfull. The other cover is nice (I like the guy and his hair!) but is too opaque, too gray; it feels like it lacks of sharpness.

  131. I actually prefer clothed men to unclothed for book covers (otherwise it seems too much like the objectification that women have been subject to forever) but if I had to choose, I’d go with Devil in Tartan. No idea why, maybe because the Tempting the Laird model looks like he was pasted onto a landscape and the other looks more a part of the landscape.

  132. Love the Devil in Tartan he just has a wildness about him that I really really like thank you so much for the opportunity and your generosity

  133. Oh, I think that would be “Devil in Tartan”. I don’t usually prefer blondes but that is an awesome cover!!

Thank you for the great contest!
