  1. I have to say, I am thankful to be alive! My family and I all were fighting covid last Thanksgiving. So blessed we are all here this year and healthy.

  2. I am thankful that my family and closest friends are in good health and able to celebrate together, albeit still cautiously. I am also thankful for the dedication of health care professionals and scientists who have developed the vaccines that may make it possible to start travelling internationally again.

  3. Grateful for finding the romance genre this last year. These books have reinvigorated the romantic in me and have helped me get out of some major reading slumps.

  4. In the past 17 days, I’ve lost 3 members of my family – my mom, a first cousin and a sister-in-law. I’m thankful for friends, my kids and the rest of my family who have offered remembrances and kind words and hugs whether close or long distance. Rereading notes, choosing to make mom’s recipes and going for walks in the park help.

  5. I am most thankful for having a roof over my head, food to eat, warm clothes to wear, heat to take the chill out of the house and very good health.

  6. I am thankful that I am able to be retired so that I get to babysit my granddaughter and spend time with my husband and read all the books that I want.

  7. I’m so thankful that we’re able to travel to see our families for Thanksgiving this year, since we haven’t spent the holiday with them for a couple of years now!

  8. I started Stephanie Laurens Bastion Club series. I don’t know how I missed this series years ago. Enjoying it immensely!

  9. I am thankful for my supportive family who are helping me while I recover from a right foot fracture.

  10. I am so thankful that my nine year old grandson’s heart tests came back good and he will not need to be tested again until he’s twelve.

  11. I’m thankful for my writing pod and coach, who are helping trudge through a trilogy I’ve been working on for over a decade. Now that I’ve done some personal work and gotten some well needed support and advice.. I am loving the results and I think someday soon, I’ll finally knock self publication off of my bucket list. Lol

  12. What I’m thankful for my four and five years old great-nieces. They give the best hugs. 💗💗
I’m also thankful there are romance,(wide variety),books and authors like you.
    Thank you.

Hope everyone has a safe, healthy, and happy holidays!

  15. I have a lot to be thankful for but I’ll spare you the massive list and just list 2 things. 1. We’re getting a puppy on Nov 13th!!! We’ve been without a dog since June of 2020. I’m also super thankful that a) I didn’t need surgery after tripping over my own feet and cutting open my knee in July and b) I have most of my range of motion back and am regaining strength .

  29. Thank you, Manda, for your work on disability rights. If I could change one thing, it would be for people to stop assuming someone is not disabled if they don’t have a cast, a cane, or a wheelchair. Walking is painful for me, but I don’t have to use one of the above devices – yet. I’m so tired of getting dirty looks and nasty comments when I park in a handicapped space.
I’m thankful for the people who are patient when I walk slowly, for the people who ask me if I need help, and for my wonderful husband who has never complained about the limitations my condition puts on our lives.
