With a tapestry of colors from nature’s palette, and painted by a master hand, the scenery is stunning. The deep, rustic reds are my favorites. The scents of Autumn are equally appealing. The smell of the leaves–especially those in the piles my grandfather would rake up and I would jump in and demolish. Apple pies, cinnamon rolls, and molasses cookies from my grandmother’s kitchen. Candles, fireplaces, and campfires with marshmallows toasting on sticks. School supplies–oh, how I loved the smell of fresh pencils, notebooks, crayons, and chalk, and new school books. Pumpkins everywhere!!! I love Autumn.
