  9. Simon the Coldheart by Georgette Heyer. I hadn’t read any of her books and decided to start reading her novels. I thoroughly enjoyed both The Black Moth and Simon the Coldheart. Heyers’ writing is engrossing and so detailed. She really developed her characters and the story she told.

  15. The last great book I’ve read may possibly be the book I am reading now. The High Warrior by Kathryn LeVeque.
    There is laughter,sadness and grief. This is a story about medievil P.T.S.D. With the help of loved one and friends will he be able to return to the warrior that he was before? I can’t wait to finish this story.
    I think this will be a must read book.

  16. I loved Heart of Iron part o the Iron Souls series by Becca Andre. I got to read it and review it before release on the 30th. It was full of non stop adventure!

  17. Here lately i’ve been in a book funk. I’m reading a mystery by Jessica Jarivi called When I Wake Up. You have to be careful reading it or you are going to get lost. She keeps going from past to present time. Not sure how I feel about the book yet.

  20. The last great book I read was The Princess Bride. I’ve seen the movie many times and realized that I have never read the book and remedied that quickly.

  21. Hello, ok this isn’t easy, there are so many great authors and stories. So, besides loving Julia London, I have also enjoyed reading several series by Janet Chapman and especially one of hers titled: “From Kiss to Queen”. I really enjoyed that. It’s so heartbreaking that she passed away and so young.
    Nicholas sparks is another, anything he writes and also Lynn Kurland is another fave. So much I could write here but I’ll stop here. 🙂

  36. Modern Persuasion by Sara Marks. A really good, modern version of Jane Austen’s Persuasion which is my favorite of all of her books.

  37. The best book I ever read was Skye O’Malley from Bertrice Small, adventure, survival, passion, couldn’t put it down! I hunted and bought every book she ever wrote.

  38. Read Before You Were Ours for my book club. Really amazing book. Not a happy story, but an excellent book. I would recommend it highly.

  39. I’m loving the book that I’m reading now, and I’m almost finished. To Love A Highlander by Donna Fletcher

  40. I just read the Ravanels series by Lisa Kleypas. It was a real treat to just devoured one after the other.

  45. I recently reread Call Down the Moon by Katherine Kingsley. I just loved the story and how different is from most romance books. I also love your highlander books!

  46. “Hard Hearted-Highlanded” was the last book I read. Really enjoyed it. I love all your books about Scots as I have a lot of Scottish in my
    ancestry. Just keep them coming!!

  47. Ursuls R. Le Guin’s “A Wizard of Earthsea”. I can feel myself falling into a world of magic and fantasy. She passed away recently. So sad to lose such a great author.

  52. I just read a YA book called “The Science of Breakable Things” that was very good.

  53. There’s so many to choose from, but I just finished reading “Dead in the Water” a Mattie Winston Mystery from Annelise Ryan. It is one of my favorite series.

The last great book I read was “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency” by Alexander McCall Smith. The lead character, Precious, just makes me laugh. Thanks.

  60. Sidney Sheldon is my all time favorite author. I’m re-reading ‘Master of the Game.’ One of my favs!

  61. Recently did a re-read of the Gallaghers of Ardmore series by Nora Roberts (Jewels of the Sun, Tears of the Moon, Heart of the Sea). It is, by far one of my faves. I love NR’s books based in folklore and the ones written about Ireland, and/or Irish and Scottish families, are always my faves. 😘❤💋

  69. I’ll mention two recent favorite books: the audio of Merried by Jamie Farrell and read by Karen White AND Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi. They were both excellent!

  71. While I am a fan of your books, the last good book I read was The a nature of the Beast by Louise Penny.

  72. I just finished reading Paradise by Judith McNaught for the 3rd time. Since obviously Ms. McNaught is no longer writing, I feel fortunate that someone gave me your book Wicked Angel and loved it so much I’ve continued on to read several of your books which like JM wrote HR and CR. However, I am writing this to you even though I can no longer hold a book as I have Essential Tremor (like the late actress Katherine Hepburn) which effects my hands so I can only use an ereader.

  73. I just finished reading The Woman Left Behind by Linda Howard. It was a typical Linda Howard action. A very good and easy read. I also just finished Amanda Quick’s A Girl Who Knew Too Much. Very good mystery and kept me from wanting to put the book down. I’ll be starting Nora Roberts Shelter in Place to read this weekend.

  74. I enjoyed reading The Nightigale by K.Hannah. It was so interesting g pertaining to how two sisters faced challenges in WW2-and how they solved their problems inunique fashion

  75. I am currently reading The Bishop’s Pawn by Steve Berry. I just finished Ranger Games by Ben Blum and Dead Stop by Barbara Nickless.

  76. I’m currently reading Shot in the Dark by Cleo Coyle. It’s a really good cozy mystery.

  77. Always Forever(The Emerson’s book 5), by Maureen Driscoll I actually liked the whole series, sorry it ended. Just started reading Hard Hearted Highlander. Thanks for having this great give-away!

  79. I read a mixture of newer and older books. The most recent 5 star (my rating) “old” book I read is Sophia Nash’s “The Art of Duke Hunting”. I finished reading it last week. The most recent “new” 5 star book I read is Sabrina Jeffries “The Secret of Flirting”, which I read earlier this month.

I really enjoyed binge-reading the first three novels in Victoria Alexander’s Lady Travelers series: The Lady Travelers Guide to Scoundrels and Other Gentlemen; The Lady Travelers Guide to Larceny with a Dashing Stranger; and The Proper Way to Stop a Wedding (in Seven Days or Less). I also liked Grace Burrowes’ A Rogue of Her Own, and I reread Amanda Quick’s Crystal Gardens.

  108. “Murder on Bank Street” by Victoria Thompson is an intriguing mystery set in 1890’s New York. Populated with people from the tenements to the wealthy upper class, the story goes on a devious pathway from a 4 year old unsolved murder to a very surprising ending.

  169. I have read and enjoyed several of your book series – Highland Grooms (1-2), Homecoming Ranch (1-2) and right now I just started #3 of the Suddenly series. I read a lot, so I can’t really pick a “great” book, but I usually like what I am reading right now, or I wouldn’t be reading it. Thanks for this opportunity.
